Try a faster browser! Opera for Win, iCab for the Mac. Older browsers are
frequently faster, too: try Netscape 3. ;)
I particularly like iCab; still fits on a 1.44 MB floppy, and only requires
2 MB of RAM (I think)!
In principle, I sympathize with your rant. KB-heavy pages are just another
example of the MAN keepin' the PEOPLE DOWN!
