Right. Generically though, older browsers need to have a space character
before the closing XHTML slash. For instance:
In HTML, this is valid:
<br>
In XHTML, this is the equivalent:
<br/>
However, older browsers (3.0 and prior) need:
<br />
The last example is my personal choice.
