OK - I reckon you need something like this...
<?php
$alliwantis = (isset($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING']) ? $_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'] :
null);
if (!is_null($alliwantis)) {
echo $alliwantis;
// Do some stuff
}
?>
$_GET returns an empty array if there is no key in the query string
