hey moe
why do you have to win the argument?
if "someone in your company" is in a position to make the decision, give
your opinion, and don't argue if the decision is made to go ahead with
requiring visitors to provide information before getting access to
downloads
it will help if the site has metrics to determine the "fuck you" ratio
(number of site visitors who navigated as far as the registration form and
then gave up)
