I can't easily change the server config (big company - server hosted by
other companies and they charge us loads to do even small things)
SO..
Could you give me an example of specifying the content-type (I'm using ASP),
as this is all new ground for me!

I suspect it's an issue with the content-type for the file. Have you tried
specifying the content-type upon download of the file or altering your web
server config to accomdate a different type?
