Response: PhpFormMail is a great php clone of Matt's formmail script. All
the same options are available plus someone coded a way to use codes instead
of real emails within the html form, avoiding possible email harvesting.
Very simple to use and adding client-side validation would also be quite
simple. http://www.boaddrink.com/projects/phpformmail/

Subject: [thelist] Form generator/handler recommendation?
I generally code my own form handling functions, client side and
server-side. I have a client who has been using FrontPage forms, but wants
to dump that. I gave him my process, but it's a bit too involved for his
non-coder liking. Does anyone have a recommendation for a utility to allow
the non-technical site owner to create a basic form (mostly "contact us"
style forms) with client-side validation, basic server-side validation and
then email/save to db the form data? I'm thinking of just making such a
component, but if the wheel is already invented properly, I'd roll with it.
