Nah, they'll find some other way. It's like car security. Thieves can't
steal modern cars nowadays because of better locks, deadlocks,
immobilisers etc.
So they hold you up at gun-/knife-point at the supermarket or traffic
lights, or they use a wire hook to steal your keys through your letter
box.
Tim, usually an optimist, suddenly feeling rather glass-half-empty.
