[thelist] xslt - removing whitespace

I'm a bit of an xslt n00b, but maybe this will help?
<xsl:output method="html" indent="no" omit-xml-declaration ="yes"/>
indent is set to "yes" for a lot of our files, so maybe the no setting
trims whitespace...?
