Hi Marcus,
I'd recommend something like ieHTTPHeaders [0] so that you can learn what
information is being passed between the browser and the server both during
the times when it does automatically authenticate and when it doesn't. By
looking at the entire conversation it's likely that you'll see how to make
this work, even with other web servers.
