The main navigation is the biggest thing I want on change on this
site. The reason I didn't initially make it an unordered list is
that Netscape 4 butchered it horribly -- this way I was able to give
a reasonably nice "reduced" CSS to NN4. As NN4 CSS has since been
removed entirely, there is (theoretically) nothing stopping me from
making this a list.
As for the nav text being a graphic... I'm working on it. :) It
won't be easy, but I do want to find a way to make that text text.
As monitor resolutions get higher and higher, the main navigation
becomes more and more difficult to read. Short if divs inside divs
inside divs, I'm not sure how to make this not break horribly if text
is resized. That list might just end up being vertical somehow....
Thanks for the tips so far. Nice to see that it's mostly minor stuff.
