Once one of his products has been flattened to two dimensions, there is
no way to put the depth back there. There are many ways to make it look
like 3D, but no real 3D.
Removing dimensional information is helluva lot easier than putting it
back - a bit like a cork of a champagne bottle.

With Autocad you'd have to create the model first - and that requires
more than one 2D image. To get a nice overview on 3D have a look at:
