Got to admit, the linksys is a pretty solid solution if you're running a
disablemodem. There's almost nothing to be done. Of course, then your
router gets the IP address rather than any specific machine, so the whole
firewall/NAT and IP forwarding thing goes out the window. (I use IP Tables
to do port forwarding on 27000 ports for my quake-based server to the
Win2k/WinXP servers on the internal network.)
