Scary.
Get a dog. A Rhodesian Ridgeback would be a good choice - loyal to the end,
gentle, big, great with kids and anyone you like, protective (would lay it's
life down for you without thinking twice) and bred to hunt lions (big scary
teeth). Smart too. Good dog for Texas (that's where you are, right?).
Baseball bats aren't nearly as comforting as a dog (and they don't keep
watch while you are gone or go running with you).

One could quickly make a filter to do it. An automatic filter that
automagically takes messages From:* and forwards to badguy@evilbastard.com
would take less that 45 seconds for someone who knew the mail client
reasonably well.
I see you use Communicator on Win98, which I have no familiarity with, but
I'd look at the filters (rules/whatever they call it) you have.
Are you missing any zips? Did you look for any files with modification
dates that coincide with the break-in?
