Sure have. The example HTML I sent was a cut down page. You can cut it
down even more by just taking "case 2" which is the one that doesn't
work.

IE in one case is forgiving, and not in another?
Mmm. I'll take all the quotes out but I don't think it would help. I'm
using HotMetal 6.0 which appears to be quote happy!

Good idea. I went there and it wants a URL to validat the page, do you
know if you can download this validator so you can run it on pages not
on the web yet (It would be nive to validate a page before making it
live!)

of us are still recovering from turkey overload.
I did ! Thats the example I posted. Regarding your Turkey overload.
Mine is yet to come. Us Britishers don't get Turkey overload until
Christmas day which is only 4 weeks away. "Tis the season to be jolly,
tra-lah-lah-laaaah. Lah lah lah laaaah"

as I look at it - could be causing the problem.

happens if you remove the style attribute?
Mmm. I want my tex boxes to fill the grid vell they are in and reisze
when the user resizes the browser. (Maybe I'm trying to do things with
HTML that it was not intended to do) If I take the STYLE="width:100%"
out it does "work" but the text box then doesn't resize.
Thanks for the help anyway Joe.
