If you're moving from a normal ( HTTP, port 80 ) to secure ( HTTPS, port
443 ) connection, then yeah, you're probably dropping the cookie if it's
not set to transfer as secure, and issued from the secure site. A way
around this ( if you're only using the cookie to handle a database id for
the customer ) is to transfer the record id via a form value or
querystring ( querystring being the worse of the two solutions ) to the
secure page, where you'll "pick it up" and reassign the cookie, now issued
from the secure site.
