[thelist] links pages

     i'm doing redesign of a site that has a few links pages that are long
and disorganized. i'm trying to figure out a way for visitors to be
able to navigate through the links to find what they want easily without
having to read the description of every individual link. 
     from what i can tell, the links themselves are pretty hard to
categorize and i was wondering if any of you guys have seen any good
examples of links pages that have effectively displayed numerous (ie. 50
or more), unrelated links. taking links out is not an option. thanks.
