Naw. Primarily I was just commenting on the proximity of the two
philosophies. See my next missile ..... Excuse me! ... missive. :)
I haven't read the article by Cailliau. I *would* be opposed to any
international attempt to regulate the internet; especially if it entailed
payment of licensing fees and the collection of any data other than a name
and the fact that the license had been granted. In fact, the "name" could
be replaced by "bearer" as far as I'm concerned. People new to the net are,
as you put it, "more of a "danger" to themselves than to anyone else." My
goal would be to educate - not dominate the world.
