Does anyone know of a way to prevent someone from trapping one of your pages
in a frame?
I have a situation that I'm currently trying to work out by talking with the
other developer, but I'm planning for a worst-case scenario. What's going on
is that this local TV station is covering the contract negotiations between
the district and the teacher's union and they want to put stuff on their
site. We told them that we're updating the info on our site daily, or as
needs, and they're welcome to link to that. Well, as a policy, they trap
*all* external links in a frame on their site. Argh.
It seems like I once saw something about a JavaScript method preventing your
pages from being trapped by other sites, but now I can't seem to find
anything about it.
<TIP>
Just starting with database applications? Start your planning on paper,
especially if you're doing relational stuff. A clear understanding of what
you want your app to do and how you want it to work can save you HOURS. Sit
down with your client and a few sheets of paper and get doodlin'!
