I run Linux and Win98 on my box and never have to reboot. For those

who don't know, the is an application called VMWare(http://www.vmware.com) which allows one

to simultaneously have multiple OSes running concurrently. You can

run install and run Linux on a Win box with no partitioning, formatting, etc

and vice-versa(run Win9x,NT,2000 on a Linux box, and supports FreeBSD now too). This is done through a

'vrtual machine' which multiplexes the host OS's resources between

the 2 OSes, except memory, which has to be allocated seperately for

each OS running. You can also run another OS from an existing partition, which is what I do.

I'd recommend having a good amt of memory on your box and a decent CPU,

otherwise it can bog down performance. You can download a free 30 day

trial, and the full app is only $99 for a personal edition. Rebooting

alot isn't good for a Linux system, so I'd suggest this for someone

needing access to Linux and Win apps with only one PC. Just my $0.02.
