Not quite as drastic as that...
I was still able to get a list of mail messages (including the
offending ones) via the VCP (which is also where I accessed the
half of the message I sent you)... and from there I was able to
delete the evolt newsletters. As long as they weren't in the mail
box I was able to download the rest of my mail as usual
I have since unsubscribed to evolt on this address, and renewed
my subscription via ukonline - a workable solution to my immediate
problem, but it leaves the source of the problem unfound and the
future of my webfusion mail uncertain.
Why should emails from one source (i.e. evolt) via one mailbox (i.e.
webfusion) become, as you say, corrupted? I can understand a
unique corruption caused by electronic surges or suchlike, but this
happened to every mail for about five days consecutively.
