That's actually one of the better stories in computer lore.

I don't think a lot of people know it.

Apparently, Apple records (they did the Beetles) sued Apple computer over
the name.  They came to an agreement whereby Apple Records agreed not to
make computers, and Apple Computers agreed not to produce music.

Then the Macintosh happened.  One of the original sounds it made (and still
is) is Sosumi.
