[thelist] link checker and press check?

Hi all,

what's the best link checker out there? I used to know a good one but I
lost the URL. It checks who links to you.
Also: What's the best place to search for keywords in newsarticles (old and
new ones). It has to be from many sources, not just CNN for example. I need
to check how often the competition has been mentioned in the press. Any
reliable searchengines I should use for that?
