[thelist] Scanner Information

	We strongly push HP printers here at Towson - DeskJet 800s, then
LaserJet 1100/2100/4000/8000 series printers.  The LaserJets are by far much
superior to the DeskJets, but you're obviously paying for what you get, i.e.
don't expect to much from a $200 color inkjet printer.  :)  The other types
of printers that have found their way into user's offices are Epsons and
Panasonics, and none of them compare at all to HPs.
	As far as scanners go - I've always been very impressed with the
speed and quality of HP scanners - never had any problems with them.  I
would imagine there are much better scanners out there for the money, but I
always recommend HPs as a good quality mid-ground scanner.
	As for anything else that HP produces, esp. computers - be wary....
