With the Real Audio Option, you can get the Basic Server ( 25 concurrent
streams) and RealProducer Basic for the file conversion for free. They just make
it very difficult to find on thier site. The benefits is that it streams nicely
and you can up the quality level.

Or use HotMedia from IBM, it has good sound quality and a very small stream
rate. The only requirement of the user is to have a Java Enabled browser, so no
pluggins! And again this is being offered for free.
