Err, as in apple-shift-4 (or apple-shift-f4, I can't remember which)? (Also
try 3 and f3). This will either give you crosshairs to select, or dump the
image straight to a folder somewhere, which you can then open in Photoshop
and resize, etc. If it's worked, you'll hear a camera snapshot sound effect.

The Windows-equivalent is ALT-Printscreen (copies the active window) or
Printscreen (copies the entire screen) which copies stuff to the clipboard.
Open Photoshop. Hit Ctrl-N, ENTER, Ctrl-V. Then resize.
