[thelist] CALLING SSI WITHIN CGI

Not sure if I understand your problem - but here a whack at it....

If I'm returning data as a variable from a sub-routine, I either save it to a
variable e.g. $varBanner = &Banner; then manipulate it (print it in your case) or
print it directly e.g. print &Banner;
