I know this isn't an answer for you Martin (I don't know anything about
ChiliSoft - except I hear that you can't use all of the COM stuff with it),
but I got thinking about this.

Have you looked into Java Server Pages?  There is a product from Allaire
called JRun for jsp's, and there's GnuJsp and Apache Jakarta for
Solaris/Linux/*nix (along with Apache Jserv for servlets). Sun has a lot of
standards available, and there seems to be a lot of interest. (and you can
run a dev environment on a Mac).

I'm just curious to see if it was considered, and if so what the thoughts of
the Techs/managers/guys who write you checks thought.
