[thelist] growing up wired

Last Sunday I was eating breakfast with my four-year-old (bare with me) and
I was thumbing through a magazine. I was reading an article when Ryan says,
out of the blue, "I type my name here. I click here." I looked over and saw
him pointing to a text field and search button on an ad for Ask Jeeves. 

It blew me away. A kid who doesn't even know how to tie his shoes,
understands Internet basics. He plays some kiddy computer games occasionally
and I've surfed the Web with him to kid sites like Nick jr, Disney, PBS
kids. It amazed me how natural it was for him to know. I wonder how growing
up with the Net will affect the next generation?

Or maybe I'm just easy to impress...?
