Just looking for something on the BareBones Software site and I ran across
this:

January 17, 2000 -- Bare Bones Software Sponsoring NEWD Awards

Bare Bones Software is a proud sponsor of the first annual New England Web
Design Awards [NEWD] presented by Aquent Partners and AIP.
The NEWD talent competition and awards ceremony recognizes the top web
designers in the region. NEWD will differentiate itself from other web
awards/shows by focusing on individual designers versus companies and
agencies. 
The NEWD Awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 10 at Avalon in
Boston, with over 500 web-savvy attendees expected from all over New
England. 

I don't know how many of us are in New England, but it could be pretty cool.
