[thelist] Strange symbols...

Hi Shelley,
I'm going to take a stab at it and guess it's an HTML thing. Special
characters such as the double-quote (") can be interpreded incorrectly by
some browsers. These special characters have HTML equivalents (such as
'"' for the double-quote) that should be used in HTML Documents. Most
HTML editing programs (such as HomeSite) have a "Replace Special Characters"
command that will make this conversion for you automagically.
Hope this helps,
Seth

:) Hi,
:)
:) Would anyone care to help me out on this? I am cutting and pasting
:) articles straight from email to the client's site. One viewer of the
:) site wrote this message:
:)
:) For me, your stuff arrives full of strange symbols that apparently

:) >>would be more readable.

:) >>ìOh?î I said, surprised. ìWhat do I usually smell like?î
:)
:) Is this a mac thing? A font thing? A browser thing? Can anyone
:) suggest a fix?
