[thelist] A question about TheList

Thanks for the info Joe.

I'm actually really pleased with how it's all going. The list has gained
over 50 users since I launched (about 2 weeks ago!). There aren't too many
people posting, but there is a steady trickle of posts.

I'm also following the same path, trying to post a fair amount of info and
get some discussions started. In general, I would say it is working pretty
well.

My girlfriend gave me some good advice, which seems to have worked - post
controversial topics as well as the safe ones :-) Of course, this is great
advice and a couple of posts have really drawn a few people out into the
open :-)

I'm looking forward to keeping this going. As a long-time mailing list
junkie, it feels great to actually be running a list.

Cheers for the advice people gave.
