Oops - guess I owe a tip for that last one.

<tip type="Cold Fusion Resources">
Over the last few years I've collected quite a few resources for Cold
Fusion, and figured out on my own some things that every Cold Fusion
developer should know. Here are some:

Links:
http://evolt.org/ - Evolt is a community of Web developers whose purpose is
to "promote the free exchange of ideas in a community created by Web
professionals without the burden of needing to make money from it". Evolt's
e-mail list remains high on my list of most useful resources, as there are
countless numbers of experts in every field/aspect of Web development
willing and able to answer just about any question 24 hours a day.
http://forums.allaire.com/DevConf/Search.cfm - Allaire's forums are ok. But
one oft-overlooked feature of them is their searchability. Got a question,
or a problem you just CAN'T solve? Chances are, someone has already asked
the people at Allaire, and the people at Allaire have answered. One caveat:
you need you know how to do a boolean search or you won't find what you
want.
http://allaire.com/developer/gallery/ - Doing something complex? Check here
first to make sure there isn't a free solution readily available. Leverage
the experience of other Cold Fusion professionals by integrating Custom Tags
whenever possible. Even if you can't use one of them, many of these tags
are open-source, so you can modify them to do what you want, or use them as
a learning tool and borrow their useful parts.
http://fusebox.org - Already know Cold Fusion? Learn Fusebox. Fusebox is a
standard for writing CF code that will make your projects more efficient,
more extensible, and most importantly, easier for the next guy to understand

Next time - Books and Software!
