[thelist] before and after

Peter,

I am always tempted to use gray as a background, but I can't help but think
the site needs to be more of a sophisticated artsy design.  With that in
mind, I like the white background better, but the green addition is cool.

On my system there is about an inch gap between the drop-downs and the Guide
to salsa.  What about moving it up a little along with the green tables on
either side?
