Cheers Frank. Fantastic set of tips there. Maybe you should scribe an
article for the evolt site - I for one would sure like to read more of your
extremely sensible sounding "geek fitness" tips.

Thanks.

I wonder who else on the list has skills that we wouldn't immediately
associate with tips. Any chiropracters (sp?) or indoor gardeners or
sheng-fui experts who want to share some extra tips that those of use who
are deskbound and monitor-fixated can add to our daily lives :-)

<tip type="meditative">

Having recently started reading a lot about Buddhism, I have been
experimenting with breathing meditation. I have found that during my daily
work, taking a moment every now and then to stop and spend maybe 40 seconds
breathing deeply and feeling each breath fill my lungs before releasing,
helps me relax and beat stress.

You could combine a "breathing break" with an RSI break. Look away from
your monitor every now and again, rest your wrists and take a few moments
to breathe.

You'll feel better for it :-)
