[thelist] G2 and Rethink

Hey 'Volters:

I recently have been offered the opportunity to attend several classes for G2
and ReThink, lanugages developed by a Cambridge(MA)-based company called Gensym.
I understand that G2 was one of the first Object-Oriented languages, and both
are built on top of CommonLisp, which is used for AI stuff. I suppose it would
be silly to turn down the opportunity to learn anything new, but I feel like
there are so many more things to know out there...

So, I was wondering if any of you had ever worked with G2 or ReThink (which, by
the way, is used by the Royal Mint to control some of their processes, as well
as all those cell phone satillites that are about to be destroyed). Immediately
speaking, would this be worth it for a Web programmer?
