Hi Folks,

I hope I'm not asking too much. I have been trying to read through some
good ASP tutorials. I must admit they are, at this time, over my head. I
don't seem to be able to find the information I need exactly.

What I want to do is be able to "pull in" standard template file(s) into my
HTML file. Such as headers, side navigation bar, footer material that is
exactly the same on each page (including all the JavaScript and mouseover
info). So that, if I update the header or add a button to the side
navigation, I don't have to edit ALL the files, but just the template.

I'm confused. Do I use the document.write command to do this? Where? Do I
have "static" html files that retrieve information from other "static" html
files to display the final page? I'm not sure which page becomes the
"*.asp" page.

If anyone has a great tutorial they could send me too, that would be
fantastic.

TIA,

Michele
