[thelist] OT: Comdex + San Francisco

Pre-welcome to America :)

For comdex, you'll need to register even for the exhibit only part of
the show. There is always tons of cool stuff to check out at comdex,
most of it internet related these days, so it would be educational. If
you're going to be there, let me know off list and we'll hook up for a
beer/martini/soda/martini/glass of water and chit chat :)

<tip type="swap partitions">
Try to put your swap partitions near the beginning of your drive. 
The beginning of the drive is physically located on the outer portion of
the cylinder, so the
read/write head can cover much more ground per revolution, therefore
making your swap faster :)
