adrian,
first of all, no disrespect intended but you probably just pissed off a
whole bunch of other thelist subscribers by not only posting html formatted
mail, but also attaching files. both of these are cardinal sins on public
discussion lists, not just this one. please keep this in mind in the
future.

: From: Adrian Kearns <adriank@reactor.co.nz>
:
: Having terrible trouble with IE 4.72 "shuffling" the page
: downwards when you click on a link.
:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
you got a working example online somewhere?
:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
: I have tables within other tables, the 'master' table has
: a height of 100%
:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
tables do not have a HEIGHT attribute, despite what ie will do if you
include one. table heights are supposed to be relative to the content they
contain. they are to be only the height necessary to contain the content
and nothing more.
maybe be more specific about what the problem is and also include a link to
an example you've put online. if you can't get the idea across that way
then maybe you need to do a screen capture and draw little arrows and stuff
to show where the problem is.
good luck,
.jeff
