Adrian/Jeff,
I may be missing something here but what's wrong with putting the whole page
in a 100% height table of three rows then align top row 'top', middle row
'middle' etc. I had a play with it and it works for me on Netscape 2/3/4, IE
4/5, Opera 3.6,
