[thelist] Form not posting?

Hey Chris,

ASP's not my bag, I'm a ColdFusion kinda guy; but unless the ASP is screwing
something up, the code is working fine (bot GET and POST methods) on my
local machine (minus the ASP tweaks).

Does ASP have a debug function that will display form variables passed into
a template? I ran this through CF (it's a crutch, I know) and it shows that
the form is passing the variables just fine. Maybe one of the ASP gurus
here on the list could make sure it's not the ASP code that's messing you
up?

Good thing you have a plan B. :)

|Seth,
|
|Well, we are standardized on IE5 here. I've downloaded
|Netscape "6" but it barfs everytime I open it.
|
|Anyway, I agree that it doesn't make sense. It really
|pi**ed me off, in fact. Which is why I just gave up
|and went with Plan B, which was to use the GET method.
|
|<tip>
|Two Rules to Prevent Frustration:
|1. Always have a plan B.
|2. If you have a plan B, don't sweat it if plan A doesn't work.
|</tip>
|
|Maybe this is why Perl programmers seem to be such a
|cool bunch, "there's more than one way to do it."
|
|Thanks for looking into it Seth,
