the server is IIS. and afaik, not every instance of IIS has frontpage extensions
enabled. apache is definitely going to be the safest option.
i'd avoid using the extensions, and learn to use an alternative - ie, standard
SSIs, scripts to handle forms (cgi/asp/cf/php), etc. depending entirely on
something like frontpage extensions is hardly going to do wonders for your
knowledge of site development.
