i've only just got started working with cold fusion via the mac and i'm
pretty happy with it so far.
i'm using 'dave' by thursby ( http://www.thursby.com ) which allows the mac
to mount my NT box - it just appears on the desktop like another hard drive
icon. the beauty of this is that i can work on the files that reside on the
NT box in BB Edit. they save directly back onto the pc, rather then having
to upload them everytime i make a change. Speed is good :)
i have to set up the access databases on the NT box - unfortunately i don't
think this step is possible on the mac yet.
one really annoying problem i'm having at the moment is TCP/IP on the mac.
for dave to work i need to configure TCP/IP for ethernet, where i use PPP
to dial up for internet connection. hence, i can't be connected to the
internet to harrass isaac for cold fusion help while i'm learning :p
i'm going to write to thursby and hopefully they'll have a work around...
but i tend to doubt it at the moment..
if anyone can shed some light on this problem i'd really appreciate it
