It was an explanation for my decision to avoid proofreading the site (which is
sometimes done, and thus sometimes expected in a critique - especially for a
smaller site). It was a personal opinion kept brief and as an aside. There was
no personal attack - I don't even know if the site developer shares the views or
is a member of the band.

You can do some interesting things with simple scripting and a form select
element:

The example in the article could surely be implemented using PHP, ASP, etc. Does
anyone want to write up the equivalents for these alternatives?
