one of those unfortunate side effects of free speech is that it's full of inappropriate stuff...
somebody somewhere will get offended by something somebody else says... the reasons are
valid to one, but not to another, the comment appropriate to one, but not to another... it's
actually quite subjective...

i've made a few comments about contents of sites... i suspect if it were an auto parts site and
he called it 'car drivel', nobody would have cared or considered it insensitive... remember, it's
just a religion, a religion that someone chose... it's not a birth defect or something (although i
could open a whole new can of worms there)... let's not make it into more than that by
declaring it an untouchable topic... *that's* how censorship starts...

actually, when i review a site, i note whether or not i will comment on content... but sometimes
it's so bad, or so boring, that i opt not to, even though it's rife with errors... but i don't want the
reader to think the text is fine when it is not, so i qualify it by saying i'm not reading it...
either way, let's not censor anybody, but if you truly feel something is inappropriate, please
talk to them off-list... it's nicer for that person if he/she didn't notice it... and it's nicer for those
of us who didn't notice it or don't care...
the tip well is dry tonight... you all know i'm good for it...
