[thelist] computers

Buy a Dell.  Get it installed with Win 2000 and then install
either Mandrake Linux or Red Hat Linux (for your
Development/Unix Environment).  Dell makes some really good
systems and preloads them with some really good software.
Also, three year next day onsite warrantee can't be beat.
