WHy don't you build your own? I did this in February and spent about $1300
for a PIII 600EB with 384mbs of RAM, Win 98. 13gig hd, 32x8x4 CDRW, 50x
CD-ROM. I already had a monitor, so you'll want to figure that into the
price. Also, I have a highly upgradeable machine now, if I want, I could
throw a PIII 850 CPU in it today and with a quick BIOS setting it would keep
on running.

Price is not an issue, as long as it does not exceed $1500. I
would use the PC for RPG programming, mocha to connect
AS/400, internet use and email. I would like to be able to upgrade.
