================
Win98
IE 5.00.2919.6307
truecolor 32bit
800x600 res
56k -48bps(actual)
first impression
long ass download-Ya got how many images?
header menu bar
about a 2px left misaligment with top menu buttons over the second and third
rows
needs about 5px spacing on left hand side
trebuchet is not one of the more common fonts
Verdana would be a good second choice- geneva would be a good call for macs.
kill the clip art girl at the computer- get a real pic...
stock detail pages
would include size info and alt tags for images.
unless it is mandatory i would include the manufacture info in the alt tag
and eliminate the mfg. logo-
as it is now the text appears then disappears as the image arrives....
---pers.opinion----
i would have the image below text
this is one of the few cases where an interlaced jpg would create an
illusion of speed and movement.
perceptually they would see this while they were reading the text, and the
download time could be used to your advantage.
i would link thenext item in catagory as well as the links to the trolley
and the list.
the double arrow..
the arrow is on the left side of the text and images everwhere except the
product detail button...?
products menu
I don't see a way back to the full list other than clicking on the yellow
products in store button on top..
you may want to preserve the fullmenu when you click on a section or
provide a link on that right menu to look for other stuff..
other than that seems to work well..lotta work!
