thanks for pointing this out. but now it becomes even more interesting.
my guess it is browsers issue.
in 256 colors (8 bit) - it's black in NN ( #000000) and #333333 in IE,
in 16 bit it's - #303430 in both,
and in 32 its correct (#333333) in both.

strange - on my monitor it doesn't change in all three color modes.
