Well, I stuck my foot in this one. Several weeks ago - on the NBC Today
Show, Matt Lauer interviewed an eye doctor that discussed new lenses that
helped those that were 'color blind' to see more 'contrasting' colors. Matt
admitted that he is 'color blind' and was quite excited with the lenses - he
could see differences between colors that he'd never noticed before,
especially greens.
I've just searched the nbc.com site (and msnbc.com) and just can't find
anything about these lenses - sorry. It must be a story so old that there's
nothing still posted about the show segment.
I'll write a few eye docs and ask for information - and will post it here
if/when I get any.
