that doesn't sound right... he wants to know how wide a web page 
can effectively be to fit on a 8.5" wide sheet of paper (right?)...

he doesn't want to know dpi of the output, but how many px, and 
2400 px ain't gonna happen...

btw, what's with the '?' as a quoting symbol?

my number might not be perfect, either, especially since my 600px 
tables seem to fit on a sheet of paper just fine...
